My name is Edi, I'm 18, and I left Latvia for Germany to fulfill my dream of becoming an actress. I was cramped in my hometown, and my parents didn't believe in my choice. Everything is new here: language, people, life. I work part-time in a cafe to pay for acting classes, go to auditions and learn to be independent. It can be difficult sometimes, but I know I'm on the right track. I chose myself, and I will never back down.
